Taylor Swift, in full Taylor Alison Swift (born December 13 1989 West Reading Pennsylvania U.S.) American pop and country musician and singer whose stories of heartbreak in the early years achieved wide recognition in the beginning of the 20th century. Swift showed an interest in the arts at an early stage and progressed swiftly from roles in theatre for children until her first performance before a crowd of thousands. The moment Swift performed The Star-Spangled Banner in front of a Philadelphia 76ers game at age 11. She was already creating songs. Following that year she picked up the guitar. Taking her inspiration from popular country artists like Shania Twain and the Dixie Chicks (now the Chicks) Swift crafted original songs that were a reflection of her own experiences of growing up in a world that was dominated by tweens. Swift relocated from Pennsylvania with her family and moved to Tennessee, Hendersonville. she was 13 to commit her time to courting artists from the genre of country music in Nashville.
